This article highlights the potential of the EpiChip, the first epigenotyping chip dedicated to the bovine species, by detailing its technical performance, the quality of the data produced, and the phenotypes that can be explored.

This publication is an essential reference for understanding the technological choices that guided the design of the chip and its contribution to advancing the interpretation of epigenetic mechanisms in cattle.
